Croatia Soccer Tournaments!

KROATIA CUP - UMAG - CROATIA – The international tournament - Kroazia Cup takes place in the lovely village of Umag just 45 kilometers from the italian border not far from the italian city of Trieste.

Accommodation for all participants is in nearby Catoro, in a well appointed Sports Village, by a splendid beach and the sea. with football pitches close by.  The Town receives 2,400 hours of sunshine a year and in summer the sea is a warm 26C degrees. Thanks to its natural location this town offers a varied range of sports activity options on both land and sea - such as sailing, diving, water skiing, windsurfing, deep sea fishing, tennis, mini golf, basketball, volleyball, handball, soccer and other sports for which the necessary facilities and sports schools are on hand.

To participate in tournaments, teams must be members of their National Football Federation according to FIFA regulations. The tournament is authorized by UEFA but, under the committee authorisation, amateur teams, school or college-teams can register to play also. PITCHES. Several grass and artificial grass pitches are available near the Village. Please note  NO metal studs are allowed in any of the pitches. Teams are requested to bring the appropriate boots to play. Matches will be played in the Catoro Village area and Umag.

DOCUMENTS & RULES. On arrival, you will be given an information folder containing documents and rules of the tournament together with final playing groups and kick-off times.

COMPETITION SYSTEM. Matches will be played in a league format in groups of mainly of 4 teams each; groups of 3 or 5 teams may also be possible. The organisers can change formats at their discretion.  A maximum of 6 matches could be played. A minimum of 3 matches are guaranteed under any competition format. Exceptionally, teams may have to play 2 matches on the same day or one after the other.

ACCOMMODATION
The groups have their accommodation in apartments in the Village of Catoro close to the football pitches. The apartments are for 3, 4 or 5 people with a bedroom, a living room with an auxiliary bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower, balcony,  satellite TV, telephone. Services:  A large swimming pool  is situated close to the beach. There is also a fresh water swimming pool. Shops, post office, a supermarket and a clinic are also close to the Village. The Croatia Tournament includes:
