Geography

Traditionally geography departments are well travelled. Our visits can assist your pupils in their work on either physical or human geography. Pupils can visit locations to study coasts, rivers, glaciation and tectonics and see how physical features affect life in the modern world. Working in groups and with our experienced tutors pupils can work to develop their skills of geographical enquiry, GIS and consider alternative futures in the environment, climate and tourism to give just a few examples. Languages

Pupils failing to “use� the language you are teaching them? One of our tailor made tours with full interactive learning will ensure your pupils have practical experience of the need to speak and understand another main European language. We can provide tutors and cultural highlights for pupils learning French, Spanish, German and Italian. By visiting the country they can really grasp the nuances and pronunciation that so often makes our pupils loose confidence in their abilities.

Religious Studies

Choose Activ4 for an educational visit to a destination key to religious faith, history or a specific aspect of religious tradition.  Working with our tutors your pupils will develop vital skills enabling them enquire, consider and reflect as they learn and understand aspects of a specific religion and its effects on believers and society.

 During the visit pupils will be able to see how religion and faith affects all areas of life especially art, buildings and the way of life of the people who live in places of religious significance. Activ4 can also provide visits to places of pilgrimage and, if desired a pilgrimage experience itself.

Art
