Join us on the Costa Brava for fun filled sports tours in the sun, our Sportsfest series brings teams from the UK together to compete head to head for the honour of being Sportsfest Champion. This complete package includes fixtures, coaching sessions, evening entertainment and an excursion into Barcelona and the world famous Nou Camp Stadium.
Sample Itinerary
Depart from UK airport bound for Spain. On arrival at your destination airport you will be met by an activ4 representative and transferred to your hotel in Lloret de Mar. Once you have checked in to the Hotel Samba most groups take the short walk over to the beach and even have a dip in the sea! Once you have returned to the hotel and freshened up you can head to the restaurant for a buffet dinner where there will be plenty on offer to suit everyone, a visit to the grilled section is definitely a must to get the taste buds going! After dinner you will have a chance for a bit of culture before the sports start. The “Old Town” is beautiful and Sant Roma’s Parish Church is well worth a visit. Stroll back to the hotel for a Quiz night in the Victory pub – perfect end to your evening!
A hearty buffet breakfast is the best way to start a busy day. You will then take a short walk to the local municipal football stadium for your first coaching session. Our experienced activ4 coaches really know how to work the children and your first session is sure to excite them all! Walk back to the hotel to fill up on lunch before heading back to the football stadium for yet another exciting session focusing on pre match preparation. Enjoy some relaxation time by heading back to the hotel swimming pool or if the beach is for you then head straight over! Your coaching sessions will come into use as you head out to superb venue that is Vidreres for your first fixture against UK opposition. After the exhilarating match you will depart back to the hotel for your dinner. No rest for the wicked, once you have eaten you will head out to “Bowling Lloret” which is just a short walk from the Hotel. Enjoy a night of Ten Pin bowling – a chance for the children to beat “Sir” or “Miss”!
After breakfast you will depart for a big day in Barcelona. Before heading into the city you will gain an insight into the life of a football star with a visit to the amazing Nou Camp for a Stadium tour followed by a visit to the Olympic Stadium. A packed lunch will be provided for the group. Stroll around the beautiful Parc Guell for lunch where you will see the works of Gaudi before heading to Las Ramblas for some shopping time. The children will love the street entertainers and don’t forget to visit La Boqueria Market where the colours and activity are stunning. Return to your hotel for dinner followed by a visit to Magic Park Amusements. As well as the latest simulator arcade games, you will find bucking bronco’s and indoor dodgem cars. Great fun and just a short walk away.
After breakfast the focus returns to sport and your final coaching session, our professional coaches will help the children prepare for today’s games. Lunch is at the hotel and then you’ve got time to get together and discuss tactics before heading off to Vidreres for the tournament finals! As it’s the final night what better way to round off Sports-Fest than with a Presentation Night and Disco which will be hosted by the activ4 team, so after dinner everyone will gather together for the final celebrations and farewell.
Unfortunately all good things come to an end and today you return to the UK. After breakfast it’s time to check out but there is just enough time for some last minute shopping and lunch before you head out. Our coach will transfer you to the airport as the activ4 reps wave you off.
