School Sport Trips to Iceland
More about our Iceland packages…
Fascinating, quirky but always inspirational; Iceland is unlike anywhere else you have ever been. Take the opportunity to explore this magnificent land; there are glaciers, volcanos, lava beds, sand flats, mountains and over 10,000 waterfalls. The only problem is fitting it all in.
Sport, and football in particular, is very popular and clubs have excellent facilities and a large number of both boys and girls teams. Apart from football, there are excellent opportunities for competing in basketball, volleyball and handball and with long summer days there is plenty of time to fit in all those activities.
Iceland is also a popular part of our two destination tours to the USA, with a two or three day stopover you can enjoy both seeing the sights and add additional matches to your tour.

Reykjavik
Reykjavik is the planet’s most northerly capital and a magical city it is lying on the south westerly coast framed by Mount Esja. There is an un-missable energy about the place and people open and friendly and about a third of the total population of Iceland live in the city. Take your time to visit the old town centre, the Parliament, the harbour, Hallgrimskirkja Church, the Pearl and many other intriguing sights.
