School Sport Trips to Italy
More about our Italy packages…
Many of our groups return year after year to Italy because it has so much to offer. Italians have a passion for sport and welcome the opportunity to play international matches of all standards. Clubs are well organised and are at the heart of the local community.
Italy is also popular because of its rich history and culture; fabulous cities of Rome, Milan and Venice provide a spectacular backdrop to any tour and the opportunity to explore these iconic destinations is a chance not to be missed.

Lake Garda
The contrasting landscape of dramatic mountains, clear water and sandy coves make Lake Garda a wonderful place to visit. The lake is fringed with small towns and the town of Garda itself can be found on the Eastern shore with its cobbled streets filled with shops, the magnificent lake reflecting the nearby Alpine peaks. Peschiera, a quaint little fortress town steeped in history dating back to the 1400’s with shops, cafes, restaurants and narrow winding cobbled streets.
The lake Garda area provides a great base for discovering Milan and all it has to offer; fabulous fashion shopping in La Galleria, the magnificent spectacle of Il Duomo as well as its historical castle and the famous San Siro football stadium.
Rome
The Eternal City is over 3000 years old but has a timeless beauty; its seven hills still form part of modern day Rome as do the spectacular sights which are a testament to its once mighty empire. Around each corner is a fountain, piazza or ancient monument and you cannot help but feel the history that lives and breathes in this impressive city.
There is something for everyone and you can’t help but feel inspired by your surroundings. Sightseeing in Rome is exhilarating – The Coliseum, The Pantheon, St Peter and the Vatican, Michelangelo’s Pieta, the Trevi Fountains, exploring temples, residences, basilicas, churches, palazzi, parks and museums.
Venice
Venice is spectacular and seeing it for yourself really brings home its unique beauty. Historically its own nation Venice is built on a salt water lagoon which is separated from the Adriatic sea by the Venice Lido. Over 400 bridges connect the 150 canals that link such famous places as St. Marks Square, the Doge’s Palace and Campo San Polo.
Our location on the Lido di Venezia is the ideal venue for a full range of tours. The lido itself is a cultural hotbed and even plays host to Hollywood superstars who attend the Venice Film Festival. On the one side you have the lagoon and on the other the Adriatic Sea.
