Malta is a small historically rich Mediterranean island and Maltese hospitality is legendary. Sports groups are drawn towards the island not just because of its pleasant climate but also because of its Commonwealth heritage which means that netball is readily available through the local club structure

Qawra
The site of one of the many towers built by the Knights of St. John, Qawra is located on the northeast of the island and together with Buggibba forms part of St. Paul’s Bay. It is popular with tourists and shoppers with plenty of restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours. Alexandra’s Karaoke Bar is perfect for early evening entertainment for our school groups.

Sliema
Sliema occupies a peninsular and is the main coastal resort on Malta. Its seafront runs from St Julian’s in the north to Manael Island and Gzira in the west. Most of this distance has a wide promenade with seating, cafes, statues and fountains. There is a small beach where Sliema meets Julian’s and two swimming pool lidos.
