Activ4 Unveils a New Italian Destination

Activ4, the school travel specialist, announced that for the 2015/16 ski season it would be adding a new ski destination to its portfolio. Asiago Neve Village is based in Asiago Highland a beautiful location for your Activ4 school skiing trip to Italy on the sunny plateau between Veneto and Trentino. Steeped in war time history this undiscovered beautiful region of Italy is a hidden gem nestled within a quaint selection of picturesque towns and villages. Steve Scott, MD at Activ4 said, “From the first moment that we arrived in the region we took to it; the people are just so friendly, the views spectacular and the traditional architecture of Asiago itself give you a warm glow of satisfaction.” Take a look at a quick video of a snowy Asiago here

Monte Verena is just 15 minutes transfer from your hotel and boasts an elevation of over 2000 metres and with a base level of 1655 the resort offers plentiful snow conditions with a variety of runs for all abilities. Ample opportunities for beginners to ease gently into their boots and helping their cause is the recently installed covered ‘travelator’ which on those first few days when you are just finding your feet, makes the slope so much more accessible.

Activ4 Evening Entertainment

There is a newly built 10 pin bowling alley, a fantastic ice-rink which plays host to the championship winning, Asiago ice hockey team, and a beautiful piazza at its heart. During the winter the centre of town is pedestrianised and there are fabulous little chalet market stalls in the piazza selling all manner of local goods.
One of the most popular features of the hotels that Activ4 use is that they have a ‘Taverna’ which translates in this case to a large room that the hotel uses for receptions etc which becomes an ideal location for the group. There are big screen TV’s for a movie night, disco lights and sound systems for party nights and a bar…
