Sample Itinerary for Canada School Football Tours

Day 1 Depart UK, Arrive in Toronto

Depart from UK airport and travel to Toronto Airport. On arrival you will be met by a member of the Activ4 Canada team who will assist with the coach transfer and check in at your accommodation at University of Toronto Summer Residence. This evening you will have dinner and then settle in to the hotel after your journey.

Day 2 Sightseeing Toronto, Training

This morning the trip will get started with a sightseeing tour of Toronto. While on this tour you will see the CN Tower, at 553 meters the second tallest freestanding structure in the world, the massive skydome Stadium and so much more. In the afternoon the group will have their first training session.

Day 3 Canada’s Wonderland

This morning the tour will take you to Canada’s Wonderland. On your way back get some pre match preparation going and discuss team tactics as today your first matches are scheduled where you will hopefully put in a good performance! This evening you will have your first fixture. Fixtures are usually played during the evening with local teams.

Day 4 Niagara Falls, Training Sessions

Departing this morning for a full day sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls. The thunder, the mist, the spectacle of 155 million litres of water unleashed over a 54 meter drop. You will also get to go on the Hornblower boat cruise. Followed by some great photo opportunities. Returning back to Toronto ready for the group to have their second training sessions that evening.

Day 5 Fixtures

A leisurely breakfast is taken this morning and some relaxation is taken today, giving you some free time. This evening will see the second tour game against Canadian opposition and following this your party will return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 6 Ottawa, Training, Ghost Walk

This morning you’ll pack all of your stuff and head to Ottawa, the Capital of Ontario. In the afternoon it’s time for your third and final training sessions ready for your final game. This evening you will have a ghost walk. Are you brave enough to enter the Old Carleton County Jail, one of the most haunted buildings in North America?

Day 7 Amphibus, Fixtures, Awards Ceremony

Setting off to see the beautiful region of Ottawa-Gatineau by land and water on the Amphibus, a bus that transforms into a boat. A unique historical adventure awaits you, introducing you to over 75 important sites in this picturesque area! Followed by the third and final fixture where you will hopefully return triumphant. On the final night hold an awards ceremony.

Day 8 Departure Day

Sadly its departure day, after breakfast check out of the rooms and according to your flight plan to the UK you will be transferred to Toronto Airport to embark on the journey home. All good things must come to an end but the sights and sound of Canada and the people you have met will live long in the memory…
