Flaine France School Ski Trip

As one of the most popular resorts in the Grand Massif region, Flaine is tailor-made for school ski trips.

Developed in the 1960’s, Flaine is at the centre of a large bowl which brings skiers back to a large area of nursery slopes at the heart of the village. Flaine is ski-in, ski-out in every sense of the word.

Flaine France School Ski Trips:

  • 265km of slopes
  • 50% of slopes are suitable for beginners
  • 25 Lifts

French ski resorts have often seemed out of reach for school ski trips because of the cost. However Flaine offers spectacular Alpine skiing even during the peak February Half Term school holidays from just £799.

Located in the Haute Savoie department of the French Alps means that Flaine is one of the most easily accessed ski resorts for UK schools and both skiers and boarders will love the 265km of slopes that the Grand Massif offers. As the lifts run up to 2476m, the season here also accommodates schools that look to travel from December right through the Easter holidays.

Over 50% of the runs are easy slopes aimed at beginners so your students will appreciate the sheer mileage that is aimed at them. But don’t worry there are 95km of red runs and 35km of blacks for you to be able flex your skiing muscles. Those just starting out also welcome the long, covered travelator which dominates the beginner zone at the foot of the mountains.
