For many years, Andorra was seen a less distinguished relative of the Alpine regions. It was often frequented by a more fun-loving party crowd but after a substantial facelift it has moved much more upmarket. However, it’s still affordable so makes a perfect destination for school ski trips.

Sample Itinerary for Grandvalira Andorra School Ski Trips
Day 1 Depart School for Dover
Depart from school and head to Dover where you will cross the channel to Calais travelling to Andorra.
Day 2 Arrive at Hotel Ransol
On arrival your Representative will help you get checked into the hotel. The group will have time to explore the village and acclimatise themselves in the comfortable surroundings of the hotel. As well as get their ski hire equipment fitted in house, preparing them for the following morning.
Day 3 Morning of Skiing, Hot Lunch and Afternoon of Skiing
The morning you will set off on the coach to the meeting point for ski school. After a hard morning of skiing, your well-earned lunch will be a hot meal at a restaurant. Return to your lessons and enjoy the rest of the day. As with all areas of Activ4 School Tours programmes, evening entertainments will be carefully planned for your group.
Day 4 More Fun in the Snow
Head out for another full day of fun in the snow. Grandvalira is the largest skiable area in the Pyrenees with 205 km of tree lined pistes to explore. The resort has also increased its artificial snow network and now guarantees 65% coverage from snow cannons. Tonight you may decide on an evening enjoying a quiz night at your hotel.
Day 5 Full Day of Skiing followed by Pizza Night
By now everyone will be starting to feel they are making good progress and able to get out and explore the piste on offer. This resort can ensure new skiers learn safely but can also offer experts the opportunity to perfect their technique! This evening you may opt to round off your day with a pizza night (extra cost) in the town.
Day 6 Another day of Skiing, evening of Shopping
After a hectic week of intense lessons the students will be desperate to show you what they can do so head on up to the mountain! Tonight would be a great night to opt to enjoy some tax free shopping in the centre of Andorra.
Day 7 Last Day of Skiing and Departure
Unfortunately all good things have to come to an end and today is your last day. However, you still have the opportunity to hit the slopes for a final day. After dinner, board the coach, tired but happy, and ready to sleep all the way back to the UK.
Day 8 Arrive back in the UK
The tour officially ends when you get back to the UK, but with a trip this great we are sure that it will live long in the memory.
