Sample Itinerary for Italy School Hockey Tours
Day 1 Depart for Italy
Depart from your UK airport bound for Italy. On arrival at the airport you will be greeted by an Activ4 School Tours Local Representative and transferred to Lake Garda. School groups have been enjoying Italy school sports trips at this resort for a number of years which is a testament to how much it has to offer.
Day 2 Training, Fixtures, Bowling
The coaching sessions will commence in the morning. Our main training venues include the nearby hotels of the Paradiso and Antares. The first fixtures get underway late afternoon or early evening. After the first of your fixtures you will enjoy a visit to Benacus Amusement Arcade where you can enjoy a game of bowling!
Day 3 Training, Milan and Pizza Night
Following a morning training session, today you will visit one of the most exciting cities in Europe, Milan. Start with a visit to the impressive San Siro Stadium home to both AC and Inter Milan for a stadium tour. Back in resort this evening you will finish your day with a visit to the beautiful lake for a pizza night!
Day 4 Training, Verona and Final Fixtures
Back to sport this morning with your final training session. During the afternoon you will head to Verona; a Roman city which has many historic places of interest including the Verona Amphitheatre which dates back to AD30 and Juliet’s famous balcony. Students will be keen to put in a good performance later on in the day for the final fixtures.
Day 5 Departure Day
Unfortunately all good things come to an end and today you return to the UK. After breakfast it’s time to check out. Your coach will transfer you to the airport for the return flight home. The tour officially ends when you get back to the UK, but with a trip this great we are sure that it will live long in the memory…
