There is a reason why SportsFest Spain remains one of the most anticipated events in the school sports calendar.
This May Half Term, we were delighted to welcome teams from across the UK to Platja d’Aro on the beautiful Spanish coastline for another unforgettable week of sport, competition and fun.
From the moment groups arrived, the atmosphere was fantastic. Students had the opportunity to compete against Spanish opposition, experience different styles of play and test themselves in an international sporting environment. The fixtures also provided exciting challenges and plenty of memorable moments.
Away from the pitches and courts, SportsFest delivered everything that makes the event so special. One of the highlights of the week was the visit to the local water park, where students enjoyed a well-earned break from competition and made the most of the Mediterranean sunshine.
Evenings were packed with entertainment, helping teams relax, socialise and create lasting memories together. Bowling nights proved as popular as ever, while the disco brought students from different schools together to celebrate a fantastic week of sport and friendship.
Of course, no SportsFest Spain experience would be complete without enjoying the beach. With the stunning coastline of Platja d’Aro on our doorstep, students made the most of the sunshine, beach games and time spent with teammates outside of competition.
What makes SportsFest unique is the combination of sport, travel and shared experiences. Students return home with improved confidence, stronger team bonds and memories that will last long after the final whistle.
A huge thank you to all the schools, staff, students and local partners who helped make SportsFest Spain May Half Term 2026 such a success. We are already looking forward to welcoming even more teams next year.
