2018 has seen some of the best SportsFest yet- and it is only going to get bigger and better for 2019! We handpick our locations for safety, security and a true Spanish feel for your kids – and our Easter SportsFest out in the upmarket coastal region of Platja d’Aro just an hour outside Barcelona boasts the ideal location for football, netball and watersports.

1. The location
Our groups joined us in the Caleta Palace this year, a 4-star hotel which offers children direct access to the beach, a pool and the option to step right out onto the main, safe street of the town which is renowned for its family-friendly feel. Our teachers have praised the area for its secure feel.
2. The training
The action packed sports itinerary is one of the reasons why SportsFest is such great value for money. Our tours include professional coaching – and with an ex-professional footballer as our Managing Director, you can be assured that the quality and standard is always top notch!
3. Fixtures and tournaments
One thing we guarantee in all of our SportsFest 2019 tours is fixtures for all our teams. Unlike other so-called “sports festivals”, our teams always get a good game out in resort and we cater for all levels, mean you can give all of your students the same chance to compete abroad. It’s amazing how the prospect of going on tour can help numbers and results!
We also offer the chance to play against local teams which is a great opportunity for the students to mingle with local Spanish kids.
We also include a netball tournament during the week which proves greatly popular with the girls!
4. The excursions
This fabulous Costa Brava location also offers access to some great excursions! Just an hour from Barcelona, let your kids experience a taste of Catalonian culture with a wander down Las Ramblas, a look at some of the epic Gaudi architecture which can be found all across the city and while away the time at a Spanish cafe or traditional square.
While here, a favourite with many is of course a visit to the incredible Nou Camp. One of our favourite stories from this year’s trip was one of our teacher’s getting asked on arrival “Are we playing here miss?” – Unfortunately the SportsFest budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, but we can include a visit to the Nou Camp stadium in your trip!
