Experience the extraordinary Sagrada Família, Antoni Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece and one of the most iconic buildings in the world. Students can study its unique blend of Gothic and Art Nouveau forms, exploring how architecture can express both faith and imagination.

Walk along Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona’s most elegant boulevard, lined with Gaudí’s famous works including Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. This area is a living showcase of Catalan Modernisme, offering inspiration through design, detail and colour.

Visit the Picasso Museum, which houses one of the most extensive collections of the artist’s early works. Students can trace Picasso’s artistic development and gain insight into how his time in Barcelona shaped his distinctive style and creative philosophy.

Explore the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic), the medieval heart of Barcelona. Narrow streets, hidden courtyards and ancient architecture provide a rich visual contrast to the city’s modernist art scene, perfect for sketching and photography.

The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) offers an overview of Catalan art from the Romanesque period to the 20th century. Students can explore medieval frescoes, Renaissance paintings and modernist works that chart the evolution of artistic expression in the region.

At the Fundació Joan Miró, students encounter the playful shapes and vivid colours of one of Spain’s most celebrated modern artists. The museum’s collection and architecture reflect Miró’s belief in art as a form of freedom and experimentation.

Discover cutting-edge art at MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art), where students can engage with works by international and Catalan artists. The building itself, designed by Richard Meier, is an architectural study in light, space and minimalism.

End the day at the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, where light, music and water combine in a spectacular display. This optional evening visit highlights the creative fusion of art, engineering and performance that defines Barcelona’s artistic spirit.
