Day 3: ROBOTICS & TRADITIONAL TOKYO (B, L, D)

Honda Welcome Plaza: Watch a live demonstration of ASIMO, Honda’s humanoid robot.
Sensoji Temple: Walk through Tokyo’s oldest temple and Nakamise-dori shopping street.

Photo Stop: Mount Fuji: Take in the breathtaking sight of Japan’s most iconic natural wonder.
Japanese Sushi-Making Class: Learn about traditional cuisine, food chemistry, and precision in a hands-on cooking experience.

Day 6: JAPAN’S SCIENCE CITY – TSUKUBA (B, L, D)

Science Square Tsukuba: Explore applied science exhibits from AIST in robotics, energy, and AI.
JAXA Tour (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency): Learn about Japan’s contributions to space exploration.

Return to Tokyo by bullet train.

Day 7: HERITAGE, SPACE & MUSIC TECHNOLOGY (B, L, D)

Continue with a guided tour of JAXA, Japan’s Aerospace Exploration Agency and Cyberdyne Studios to see wearable robotics in action. Return to Tokyo in style aboard a shinkansen bullet train.

Photo stop at Mount Fuji

Capture unforgettable views of Mount Fuji, Japan’s most iconic natural landmark. Weather permitting, this scenic stop offers a chance to admire the mountain’s perfect symmetry and snow-capped peak — a postcard moment and a highlight of any Japan itinerary.

Meiji Shrine and Sensoji Temple

Experience two of Tokyo’s most iconic spiritual landmarks, offering students a window into Japan’s rich cultural heritage. Nestled within a peaceful forested park, Meiji Shrine offers a serene introduction to Shinto traditions. In contrast, the vibrant Sensō-ji Temple in Asakusa — Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple — is always buzzing with energy, from the striking Kaminarimon gate to the bustling Nakamise shopping street.

A Sushi-Making Class

Get hands-on with one of Japan’s most iconic culinary traditions in a fun and interactive sushi-making class. Guided by a professional chef, students learn the techniques behind perfect sushi rice, rolling maki, and crafting nigiri — all while gaining insight into the cultural importance of food presentation, etiquette and seasonal ingredients in Japanese cuisine. It’s a delicious way to explore culture through cooking, and of course, students get to enjoy their creations at the end!
