Val Cenis France School Ski Trip: Composed of two authentic Savoyard villages it has retained its charm and tradition with genuinely warm locals who run the resort themselves.
Val Cenis is easy to reach. As one of the closest resorts to Calais, shorter travelling distances for your school ski trip means less time on the road and more time having fun on the mountain. It’s that simple!
Travel by Coach: 10.5 hours

Our final point is that traditionally the downside of taking your school ski trip to popular French resorts has been the cost… but not now.
First off, Val Cenis is such a great place to ski! Secondly, with over 125km of piste there really is something for everyone. Also, the resort itself stands at 1400m and the top station goes right up to 2800m. So you can see for yourself that the season will go right through the Easter break.
Val Cenis has a great balance of terrain for Activ4 clients to enjoy so all standards of skier can be challenged.
Depart from UK airport, on arrival in France you’ll be assisted by your Activ4 School Tours Representative who will help you to check in at Village Vacances Neige et Soleil is located in Bramans. Ski Fit information is pre supplied so this will be a breeze and you can soon settle in to your rooms.
After a hearty breakfast setting you up for a long awaited day on the slopes. Head out to the beautiful ski area. Meeting your instructors you will enjoy the first of the lessons on the mountain whilst appreciating the amazing views on offer. Come lunchtime the group will return to the chalet for a meal before heading back out onto the mountain.
Fuel up with a wholesome breakfast before heading back up the mountain. Now as the groups start to find their feet they can explore more of the mountain. As with all areas of Activ4 School Tours programmes, evening entertainments will be carefully tailored for your group and after the day of skiing you can settle down for a quiz!
Now your ski legs are truly revived you can begin to explore even more of what the mountain has to offer. With its 125km of slopes which includes the world’s longest green run, Val Cenis is ideally suited to school groups. Complete your evening with an optional Pizza night at one of the local restaurants. Go steady on the garlic bread though!
You’re really getting going now. Why not challenge yourself on the reds and blacks that stretch from the summit to the base. Students will develop their skills as fully as possible given the short but invaluable time on the mountain. Purchase some lovely souvenirs from the town to offer as gifts and eternal memoirs of the trip.
Your instructors will really be pushing for you for your final day on the slopes to get the most out of your week with them. By now all your group will be strong enough to head up the mountain together before beginning their descent. Many groups like to finish the week with a presentation evening.
After breakfast you will board the coach and start the journey back to the airport. The tour officially ends when you get back to the UK, but with a trip this great we are sure that it will live long in the memory.

The resort stands at 1400m and the top station goes right up to 2800m so you can see for yourself that the season will go right through the Easter break.
We like the way that the runs split so that all standard of skier can be challenged, which means that everyone feels that it’s value for money.
