Malaysia School Netball Tours, the Highlights:
Depart from UK airport bound for Singapore on your overnight flight where local time is 8 hrs ahead of GMT. On arrival at the airport you will be met by your local Activ4 School Tours Representative who will be your escort for the duration of the tour. On arrival you will check in to the Hotel Royal @ Queens.
Today you get to explore the city with a guided tour starting in Kampong Glam which has a rich heritage passed down from generation to generation in the form of monuments, trades, cultures and practices. Your group will pass through colonial landmarks before stopping at Merlion Park, Thian Hock Keng Temple, The National Orchid Gardens, and Little India to name a few.
After breakfast today you will enjoy a trip to Sentosa Island. Start your tour with a scenic Cable Car Ride where you can see the beautiful landscape of the city. Visit Images of Singapore, where you’ll embark on a journey to experience the colourful culture and vibrant heritage of Singapore, retold through life-size figures, animatronics and special effects.
Having enjoyed an action packed Singapore experience, today your tour moves on to the historical city of Malacca. You will enter the city of Malacca via Ayer Keroh to visit the latest attraction in the state – the Malacca Planetarium. Learn about the general star system & Malaysian involvement in space exploration. This evening you’ll have your first fixture.
Today you depart Malacca and head to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival you will check in to the Furama Hotel and familiarize yourself with the surrounding area. The hotel is located near Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant Golden Triangle adjacent ro Bukit Bintang, Berjaya Times Square and Chinatown. After dinner, transfer to Chinatown. This is a bustling bazaar where both locals and tourists alike.
This morning you can enjoy some leisure time shopping or head down to Chinatown! This afternoon you will head to your next tour fixtures which will be hosted locally. Prior to departure your tour manager will discuss the standard of opposition required in order to get the most out of your tour. The Malaysian clubs are always delighted to play English sides.
Today the sporting theme of your tour is brought back into focus with your final netball fixtures this afternoon. Later on this evening you will visit the night market along Ferringhi Beach. The stalls are lined along the road selling local souvenirs, clothes, handicraft & many more. Try the local hawker fare at the food stalls!
Unfortunately all good things come to an end and today you check out and head to the airport for your return flight home. There will be many special memories to savour as tours of this caliber make a lasting impression but the next big job is to get all the photo’s in order to get up on the display board!
