Together, these visits bring the separation of powers and constitutional principles vividly to life.

At the National Archives, students can view the original Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. This powerful experience connects the founding ideals of American democracy to the government institutions they inspired.

The Smithsonian Museums offer an incredible range of learning opportunities. Highlights include the National Museum of American History and the National Museum of African American History and Culture, where students can explore how social movements, leadership and political change have shaped the nation.
