An American School bus will meet you outside and transfer you to the Marmot Basin ski area. Brian and Dave, who manage the school ski programme, will be there to escort you to ski fit. The Ski School instructors will meet you outside and it’s time to hit the slopes! After a full day of skiing it’s back to the hotel.
Head out for another full day of fun in the snow. After a full day of skiing it’s back down to the hotel and, as with all areas of activ4 programmes, evening entertainments will be carefully planned for your group and tonight might be just the night to make use of the indoor pool and outdoor Jacuzzis.
Another active day and everyone starts to feel that they are making progress. The great things about skiing in this part of Canada is the sheer amount of snow; with over 400cm on average per year. After dinner tonight you may opt to head to The Chaba Theatre for a move night.
Set off for another exciting day skiing. By now the students will have gained confidence! One of the most spectacular evening entertainments you may opt for is the Maligne Canyon Ice Walk. This guided tour takes your group up a frozen canyon river, illuminated by head-torches and wearing anti-slip footwear explore ice fossils and towering frozen waterfalls!
It’s the last day to make the most of the snow and the group will all have made progress and will want to enjoy as much of the mountain as possible . After that you have a plethora of activities you may opt to take part in – it could be pizza night or even a Pyramid Lake Wolf Howl night.
Unfortunately all good things come to an end. Your coach journey will once again take you through the Rockies to Calgary where you will board the return flight to the UK.
