Sunshine, sport and international competition come together on our SportsFest Algarve school sports tour, based in the coastal resort of Monte Gordo in southern Portugal.

Designed for schools looking to take multiple teams away together, SportsFest Algarve combines dedicated training sessions, competitive fixtures against local opposition and tournament sport with an exciting excursion programme.

Football teams can test themselves against Portuguese opposition with two local fixtures per team, while netball teams can take part in their own SportsFest netball tournament. With excellent sports facilities close to the hotel, plenty of opportunities to train and a full-day excursion to Seville, this is much more than just a sports tour.

Sport at the Heart of Your Tour

Sport is at the centre of the SportsFest Algarve experience.

Based close to the Vila Real de Santo António Sports Complex, groups have access to an impressive range of sporting facilities. The complex includes a main grass football pitch, two additional grass football pitches, an artificial football pitch and a multi-purpose indoor sports hall suitable for sports including basketball, volleyball and indoor football.

Football teams will have the opportunity to train before putting their skills into practice with two fixtures against local Portuguese opposition per team.

For netball teams, the programme includes training alongside a dedicated netball tournament, bringing the competitive SportsFest atmosphere to the Algarve.
